Marquette – The Vertigo Theater will present “Its a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” Thursday December 6 and Friday, December 7 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 8 at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This beloved American holiday classic adapted by Joe Landry and inspired by the Frank Capra film, comes to captivating life as a 1940s radio broadcast performed before a live studio audience. With the help of an ensemble that brings several dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
Tickets are $7.50 per person and only available in advance at the library circulation desk or by phone at 228-9510 with a valid credit card. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
