Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Student Leader Fellowship Program is putting on a charity three-on-three hockey tournament for the Marquette Women’s Center on Saturday, December 1 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Berry Events Center.
The public is invited to watch the tournament. Entry is by a donation of money or needed supplies. Some of the items on the Women’s Center donation list include non-perishable food, laundry supplies, toiletries, bedding, diaper wipe, trash bags and other household items. The event will feature family-friendly activities such as face painting, a silent auction and a chance to win a ride on the Zamboni.
