Munising – “This Umbrella of Love and Trust” will be performed on Friday, August 8 at 7 p.m. at the Falling Rock Cafe and Bookstore in Munising.
The play, an adaptation of William Young's novel “The Shack,” was written by Marquette resident and Lighthouse Christian Bookstore owner Jim Stedman.
The play celebrates issues of anger, hurt and forgiveness. The cast includes John Brey, Shirley Hendrickson, David Adler, Jim Stedman, Billie Stedman and Eli Schut.
A free-will offering will be accepted, most of which will be used to sustain a commitment to Southeast Asia Christian Missions, where the Lighthouse Christian Bookstore sponsors a schoolchild. Some of the funds will be used to help the cast continue presenting the production.
