MARQUETTE, Mich.—Capitalism and its effect on women will be the topic of a presentation at Northern Michigan University on Friday, Nov. 9. Ann Cudd, a distinguished professor of philosophy and associate dean for the humanities at the University of Kansas, will speak at 4 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. A book signing will follow, with two of Cudd’s books available for purchase.
NMU’s College of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Provost are sponsoring the presentation.
