Marquette – The Lake Superior Chapter of State Employee Retirees will meet for a luncheon on Wednesday, October 17 at noon at the Holiday Inn of Marquette.
Matt Johnson, former governor’s U.P. rep and now spokesperson for Rio Tinto’s Eagle Mine project in Big Bay will be the featured speaker.
In addition to Johnson’s presentation the group will vote on By-law revisions, will elect three members to its nine member board of directors and will consider quarterly meetings during the next year.
Tony Grudnoski, president, will tell of the August statewide
Coordinating Council meeting and the changes in prescription and medical care insurances and payments.

Luncheon choices are Whitefish, Pork Loin or Vegetarian main courses with salad, dessert and potato or rice accompaniments at a cost of $12.50 per plate.
