Documentary Film “Pink Smoke Over the Vatican” October 1st at Messiah Lutheran Church

The documentary film “Pink Smoke Over the Vatican” will be shown Monday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic, Marquette. The award winning film explores the issue of women’s ordination in the Roman Catholic Church and shows the struggle of women to live their faith and conscience in spite of facing excommunication by defying the ban on women’s ordination. The film is a testimony to the courage of men and women who place conscience above authority and who challenge the world by living their truth. Free admission. Donations accepted.
