Marquette – The One Book, One Community program, revolving around the selection “A Mountain of Crumbs,” a memoir by Elena Gorokhova, will present the film “Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears” on Friday, September 21 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Directed by Vladimir Menshov, this Soviet production won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 1980. The film is 142 minutes and there will be an intermission with Russian refreshments.
