The Peter White Public Library invites the public to a screening of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest on Monday October 1 at 6:30 pm in the library’s Community Room. The 1975 release stars Jack Nicholson, Louise Fletcher and Michael Berryman.
While serving time for insanity at a state mental hospital, implacable rabble-rouser Randle Patrick McMurphy, played by Nicholson, inspires his fellow patients to rebel against the authoritarian rule of head nurse Mildred Ratched, played by Fletcher. The film is based on the novel by Ken Kesey.
Winner of five major Academy Awards, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is rated R and runs for 133 minutes.
