MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “A Handcrafted and Unique Log Cabin” at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29.
Participants will meet at the Berry Events Center’s east parking lot and proceed to Big Bay, where owner and builder Richard Hendricksen will lead a tour of the structure.
Participants will observe the engineering aspects of the log cabin, hear about the art of cooking in an old-style wood stove and enjoy a spaghetti cookout with storytelling.
This class is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Participants must also bring $5 to pay for the meal.
