Marquette – The play “Bears” will be presented Wednesday, November 14 through Saturday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. each evening in the Forest Roberts Theatre at NMU. A matinee will also be offered at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The play by Mark Rigney is the 2012 Panowski Playwriting Competition Winner. In a world where human society is almost nonexistent, Growl Bear and Timmy Bear are living peacefully in their zoo exhibit until a new, independent, and wild bear arrives and turns their world upside down.
