Ishpeming – The 10th Annual Sally’s Ride will be held on Saturday September 15 beginning with registration at 8 a.m. at the end of County Road 581 in West Ishpeming.
There will be two trails to choose from. The 12 mile ride will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the 8 mile ride will begin at 10:30 a.m. There will also be a Treasure Hunt and Poker Run.
Registration fee is a minimum $25 donation. The Treasure Hunt is an additional $5. The Poker Run is an additional $5. All proceeds will benefit the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter.
A potluck will begin at 2 p.m. Please bring a dish to pass. An equine soccer demo will be held after the potluck. There will also be a silent auction and prizes will be awarded.
Directions: Take Stoneville Road to County Road 581. Turn right on County Road 581. Drive approximately 14 miles to where the road turns into gravel. Go straight and follow signs.
