Marquette – A veterans appreciation event, in recognition of the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, will be offered for all military veterans and their families on Tuesday, September 11 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the recreation room of the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette.
The event will include a short program to honor the service of veterans and all who served in the aftermath of the attacks of September 11, 2001. There will be music by the Marquette Senior High School orchestra and gift bags to veterans from members of the Bothwell Middle School Junior National Honor Society.
