Marquette – An adoption event will be held on Saturday, September 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mares-Z-Doats on Division Street in Marquette.
Some animals will be available for adoption from the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter on site and Mares-Z-Doats will pay 50 percent of the adoption fee. Also, those who pick up a coupon first from Mares-Z-Doats will receive 50 percent off on adoptions of all shelter animals.
