Ishpeming – A Men’s Fastpitch Tournament will be held Friday, August 24 through Sunday, August 26 at the Ishpeming Fastpitch Field.
The tournament, the first in nearly 15 years,, is being held as a fundraiser for the newly established Hematite Girl’s Fastpitch team. The new team will be fully self-funded through various fundraisers and community contributions. Come out to see the action and help support the new Lady Hematite Team.
Games are scheduled from 6:30 to 11 p.m on Friday,, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The opening game will be broadcast on 98.3 WRUP, with a half hour pre-game at 6 p.m. on Friday, leading into Hematite Football at 8 p.m. from Iron Mountain.
