Calumet – The Calumet Heritage Celebration, celebrating the contributions of Finnish immigrants to the Keweenaw Peninsula, will feature “Kupari ja Kotimaa — A New Homeland in the Copper Country” on Monday, August 13 at 7 p.m. at St. Anne’s Heritage Center in Calumet.
There will be music, fun, and remarks by Hilary Joy Virtanen of the Finnish American Heritage Center.
The Heritage Celebration will continue through Saturday, August 18.
