Chassell – Chassell will host the annual Strawberry Festival on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 with many activities throughout the community. Friday events will include:
Strawberry shortcake, brats, ice cream and many other food items served from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Arts and crafts sale/exhibit from noon to 6 p.m.
Chassell Heritage Center Open House from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
A Quilt Show at Holy Trinity Church from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Free Horse-drawn wagon rides provided by Snowland Livestock at 4 p.m.
A Fish Boil at 5 p.m.
Judging of strawberries 6 p.m.
Children's parade at 7 p.m. Citizen of the Year award, Youth Citizen of the Year award and strawberry auction at 8 p.m.
Queen Crowning at 9 p.m.
Dance at the Chassell VFW Post with music by Cheap Therapy from 9 p.m. to midnignt.
