Calendar – Education – How to Work Together Even When We Disagree Workshop – July 24

Iron Mountain – A workshop on “How to Work Together Even When We Disagree” will be offered on Tuesday, July 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT in the Multipurpose Room of the Dickinson Public Library, 401 Iron Mountain Street in Iron Mountain.

Wanda Jones of Michigan Special Education Mediation Programs will lead the workshop for parents and professionals who have or work with children enrolled in Special Education. The workshop will help you identify what makes a quality Individualized Education Program (IEP) and help parents and school administrators to better partner as a team. It will focus on ways to improve communication while focusing on the needs and best interests of the student.
