Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will host a
“Wash n Wag” Fundraiser and Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, July 14 from noon to 4 p.m. at the shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
Let the UPAWS staff and volunteers wash your dog. Professional groomers will be on hand to give your dog that special beauty treatment. A free dog bandana will be given with each dog wash. Prices are $10 for a full dog wash and $15 for basic grooming.
Spin the wheel to receive a 10 to 50% off any pet adoption or the possibility to win a 100% paid Sponsored Adoption donated by kind supporters. Free goody bags will be given with each adoption.
Enjoy yummy food from the grill and refreshments while your dog gets pampered. There will be $2 Hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, $1 Drinks, and free snacks.
