City of Marquette’s Arts & Culture Center Presents: First Thursday Concert Series featuring “Four Shillings Short”

The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center’s First Thursday Concert Series is  proud to announce Four Shilling Short, performing on Thursday, July 12th, 2012 at 7:00p.m. Four Shilling Short will be celebrating their 16th  year together, performing traditional Irish Tunes and Airs, Indian Ragas, Folk Ballads and Old-Time songs. Their music is medieval and renaissance instrumentals along with a cappella numbers as well as contemporary folk and original compositions. The concert takes place in the Peter White Public Library’s Community Room from
7:00-8:45 p.m. on Thursday July 12th , 2012.  A donation of $5.00 is requested at the door to defray the band’s costs. For more information please call (906) 228-0472 or e-mail arts-culture@mqtcty.org
