Chassell – The Chassell Historical Organization and the Chassell Heritage Center will offer a special summer program on Thursday, July 3 at 7 p.m. at the Heritage Center, 42373 N. Hancock Street in Chassell.
Genealogist John P. Dulong, author of “French Canadians in Michigan,” will present a program on the immigration of French Canadians to Michigan, focusing on the Copper Country.
Dulong is the former president of the French-Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan and has family ties to Chassell dating back to the 1880's.
