Michigamme -The Lake Michigamme Property Owners will hold a Fishing Weekend event on Saturday, June 9, beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m. at the Michigamme Park Pavilion in Michigamme.
This is a rock bass tournament at Michigamme Park Pavilion and Brown Road access site. The tournament will conclude at 1 p.m., with and judging and awards will be presented at that time. Hot dog and beverages will be provided during judging and awards.
Preregistration for campers only will be held on Friday, June 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Van Riper State Park Camp Host Site. If weather is inclement, the event will be held Sunday, June 10.
