Ishpeming – Thirty-one girls from Champion, Ishpeming and Negaunee will compete in the Independence Princess and Miss Independence pageants Saturday, June 21 in the Westwood High School auditorium.
The Independence Princess Pageant for first and second graders will be at 3 p.m.
The Miss Independence Pageant for third through fifth graders will be at 6 p.m.
Contestants will dance, answer questions and demonstrate poise and personality.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for students, and will be available at the door. Doors will open one hour before each pageant.
