In honor of May as Mental Health month, a four week book study group begins on Wednesday, May 2 at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Discussion leader Lucy Olson, Clinical Practices Coordinator at NorthCare/Pathways, hosts the book group focusing on the “Members of Each Other: Building Community in Company With People With Developmental Disabilities” by John O’Brien and Connie Lyle O’Brien.
The study group will meet for four consecutive Wednesdays from May 2-23. Books are available for loan by calling Olson at 225-7235. No registration is required.
This book study is part of Your Mind Matters, an ongoing community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of local community health organizations, advocacy groups, individuals and the Peter White Public Library.
