Marquette – Learn what causes anxiety and how anxiety relates to stress on Wednesday, May 9 at noon in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Mary Ritter, therapist with Great Lakes Recovery Centers, leads the discussion analyzing what makes people anxious. An interactive activity using a cognitive behavioral tool is offered as well as general information on facts and percentages of people who suffer from extreme cases of anxiety. A question and answer session follows the presentation.
Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch or buy from the library café. Beverages will be provided. There is no admission charge and no pre-registration is required.
