Marquette – Northern Michigan University students in an Arabic theater class will present a concert reading of two youth-oriented plays by Middle Eastern playwright Jackie Lubeck on Friday, April 6 at 3 p.m. in the James A. Panowski Black Box Theatre in the McClintock Building.
Lubeck is co-director of Theatre Day Productions in Palestine. She specializes in developing plays with and for youth, leading drama workshops and training adults to teach drama.
The event is part of the NMU International Visiting Scholars Series. The public is invited free of charge. For more information, call 227-2553.
