Marquette – The Friday Film Club will host a screening of the modern classic film “A League of Their Own” on Friday, April 20 at 1:30 pm in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Released in 1992, this comedy/drama was directed by Penny Marshall and stars Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Rosie O’Donnell, Madonna, David Strathairn and Bill Pullman. “A League of Their Own” is rated PG and runs for 128 minutes.
Light refreshments will be served and following the screening, viewers will have an opportunity to discuss their reactions to the film.
