Marquette – The 26th annual Trim the Tree reception and buffet for Special Olympics will be held on Thursday, December 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Marquette.
Cost is $10. Participants receive a name tag ornament to be hung on the Special Olympics Christmas tree in the lobby.
This fundraiser supports athletes, helping cover expenses such as equipment, registrations and transportation to the games. Coaches, assistants and chaperones all serve on a volunteer basis and make these opportunities possible for the athletes.
