Marquette – Alger County, Michigan – Marquette-Alger Reading Council and the libraries in Marquette and Alger Counties invite you to Reading Day at the Westwood Mall on Saturday, March 17, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Part of the mall will be transformed into a reading area for children with carpet and cushions.  MARC will give a new book to each child who comes by to read.

Information will also be available to learn about library services, such as downloading free audio books, renewing books from home, and requesting reading materials from anywhere in the state. Find out about puppet shows, movies, storytelling, family literacy programs, concerts, and more budget friendly fun at your library.  Local libraries will display information about their hours, service areas, and special collections.
