Ishpeming – The U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame will host a Finnish Independence Day program on Saturday, Dcember 6 at 2 p.m.
A Carl Pellonpaa video documentary will be featured with special guests to include the Rev. Rudolph Kemppainen and musicians Courtney Clish, Tanya Stanaway and Paavo Hilska. Refreshments will be served.
A $5 donation is suggested. Proceeds will benefit the ski hall.
The annual teddy bear display at the ski hall will open after the Finnish Independence Day observance.
