Marquette – The Superior Geography Club and Earthkeepers will sponsor a free Hunger Banquet on Monday, November 24 at 6 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 927 W. Fair Avenue, Marquette.
More than 854 million people worldwide suffer from the debilitating effects of chronic malnutrition and hunger. The banquet will include dinner and a discussion on sustainable and lasting solutions to poverty, hunger and injustice, and an opportunity to see how individual decisions affect others in the world.
