Marquette – A Tribute to honor Marquette historian, teacher, mentor, author and storyteller Fred Rydholm will be presented on Tuesday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in Kaufman Auditorium on Front Street in Marquette.
Community members will be invited onstage to share their stories of how they met Rydholm and how he has influenced their lives and the lives of people in the Marquette community and beyond. Photos of Rydholm will be provided by Jack Deo of Superior View in Marquette.
The $5 per ticket cost will go toward purchase of a bronze plaque for the outside of the Ohio Street entrance of Graveraet Intermediate School.
Tickets may be ordered by calling Kaufman Auditorium at 225-4302, ext. 110. Tickets may be picked up before the show at the Graveraet main office or at the door on event night.
A commemorative DVD will be made of the event.
