Marquette, Michigan – Lake Superior Youth Theatre will be holding auditions for their upcoming winter production of “Annie Jr.” Dance auditions will be held on Tuesday, December 13th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Vocal/Acting auditions are Thursday, December 15th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday, December 16th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. All auditions will take place at the
Graveraet School, located at 611 N. Front Street, Marquette, MI.
Audition callbacks will be held on Sunday, December 18th at 1:00 p.m.
at Graveraet School.
Youth ages preschool to 12th grade are eligible to audition. Youth
actors, singers and dancers are all needed for a variety of parts.
Those auditioning will be asked to read from scenes, sing a song, and
possibly dance. A pianist will be provided. Those who do not wish to
sing a song at auditions may choose not to do so. Those who wish to be
considered for dancing parts should attend the dance auditions. There
is no cost to audition but there is a registration fee to participate
in the production. There are special family rates and scholarships are
available.
The upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made ANNIE one of the
most beloved musicals in history! The show is directed by Nikke Nason
and assisted by Courtney Brown with choreography by Jill Grundstrom.
The show is produced by Lake Superior Youth Theatre, Executive
Director Reatha Tweedie.
Tentative performance dates are March 9-11. These are subject to
change at the current time.
