Ishpeming – Local author Milly Balzarini will have a book signing on Saturday, November 8 at 11 a.m. at the Country Village Bookstore in Ishpeming.
Balzarini's first book, “The Lost Road Home,” was published in March and is available through local retailers.The book is a compilation of true stories of Vietnam, World War II, Korean and Iraq war veterans, and tells of traumas of war, and how that trauma affected them years after returning home.
Balzarini is a 1966 graduate of Negaunee High School and a graduate of Northern Michigan University, and was an adult basic education teacher for the Ishpeming Negaunee NICE Community Schools.
