Marquette – Joe Rogers, bird rehabilitator and researcher, will present a program featuring live raptors on Friday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Bothwell Middle School in Marquette.
Rogers and his wife operate Wildlife Recovery Association in downstate Shepherd, where they care for up to 300 injured birds and mammals annually. Rogers will display a dozen live hawks and owls and a turkey vulture, and explain their natural history.
The program is free; donations will be accepted.
