Negaunee – The Michigan Iron Industry Museum will premiere a 3-D photography program “The World of Transportation in 3-D,” on Saturday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the museum auditorium.
The program, created by local photographer Jack Deo of Superior View Studio in Marquette, features a three-dimensional trip through the history of early modes of transportation. Deo will project 19th and early 20th century photographs depicting innovations in transportation, and with the use of special 3-D glasses, the audience will enjoy a unique view of the era.
Admission is free, but donations are accepted to help support the museum’s education programs. Light refreshments will be served.
The Michigan Iron Industry Museum entrance is located on U.S. 41 E., 1 mile west of M-35 in Negaunee Township. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. the first Saturday of each month.
