Ishpeming – Negaunee resident Martha Hayward will present a program on Kurdistan, Iraq on Tuesday, November 4 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 333 E. Ridge Street in Ishpeming.
Hayward spent 10 weeks in Kurdistan last summer, teaching English at a language school. Kurdistan has experienced relative calm and security since the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 1991.
All area women are welcome. Dessert, tea and coffee will be served. Bethel Lutheran is handicapped accessible.
