Negaunee – The Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council will kick off its PAAC Social Event Series with a dinner and conversation with Karl Bohnak, WLUC-TV6 chief meteorologist, on Saturday, November 1 at 6 p.m. at a private residence in Negaunee.
Bohnak will speak on how the early pioneers coped with the changing seasons, from the first permanent American settlement to the first modern transportation in upper Michigan.
During the five-course gourmet meal, guests may talk with Bohnak about his projects, interests and knowledge of weather and the U.P.
Seating is limited, and tickets cost $25 for PAAC members, $30 for others. Tickets may be purchased at the Vista Theater Thrift Shop, 218 Iron Street, Negaunee.
Proceeds from the series will help fund Vista Theater preservation and operation. For information, call 475-7188.
