Michigamme – The North Country Trail Hikers Chapter of the North Country Trail Association will sponsor an eight mile hike on Saturday, October 22 from Craig Lake State Park east along the North Country National Scenic Trail to the Crooked Lake Outlet and then return to Craig Lake State Park.
Shorter hikes in and out on the North Country Trail will be available for those not wishing to do an eight mile hike.
Following the hike, participants will meet for an early dinner at Mt. Shasta before returning to Marquette. In the event of inclement weather, the hike will take place October 29.
