Marquette – The Tasty Reads book group is hosting a live video chat session on Monday, October 17 at noon with the author of “The Crabby Cook Cookbook”, Jessica Harper, and a family style lunch prepared from the book’s delicious recipes at noon in the Community Room of the Peter white Public Library.
The menu includes “Creamy Dreamy Vegetable Soup”, “Killer Pumpkin Muffins”, “Julie’s Cheese Ball” with crackers, “George Clooney Chicken Salad” on a lettuce bed and “Diana’s Oatmeal Cookies” for dessert.
Tickets to the luncheon are $15 per person which includes the meal, a copy of the cook book and the opportunity to interact with Jessica Harper for a live online video author presentation. Tickets are available now at the library circulation desk or by calling 228-9510. Seating is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance.
