Marquette – Fire Prevention Week will kick off with a static display by local fire departments on Saturday, October 8 at 11 a.m. in Harlow Park on Bluff Street in Marquette.
The event will include a visit with Sparky the Fire Dog, giveaways, a chance to meet local firefighters and emergency personnel, fire trucks and equipment displays, and a parade at 12:30 p.m.
