Marquette – The Northern Michigan University String Orchestra will present a free concert titled “Gateway” on Sunday, October 26 at 3 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall on the campus of NMU.
The orchestra is under the direction of Barbara Rhyneer from the NMU Music Department.
The concert will include “Violin Concerto in B Flat Major” by George Frederic Handel, featuring violin soloist Deborah Carlson; “Serenade for Strings” by Peter Tchaikovsky; and “Irish Legend” by Robert Kerr.
