Marquette – “Women of Hidden Strength!” a Catholic women’s conference, will be held on Saturday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette.
Open to both Catholics and non-Catholics, it will bring Catholic and other interested women of faith together to provide an opportunity for spiritual growth and strengthening. Bishop Sample will talk on “The Dignity of the Daughters of God.” Other guest speakers will also give presentations.
The conference is scheduled to begin with registration at 9 a.m. and conclude with the 4 p.m. Saturday Vigil Mass at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette, attendance at which will fulfill the Sunday obligation for Catholics.
