Marquette – The Peter White Public Library will host a Passport Day in the USA event on Saturday, September 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Shiras Room at the library.
Passport applications will be available and applications will be accepted. In addition to a completed application, proof of citizenship such as a certified copy of a birth certificate or U.S. Passport, a picture i.d., a passport photo and two checks are required.
More information on applying for a passport can be found on the U.S. State Department’s website at travel.state.gov or by calling the Reference desk at the library at 226-4311.
