Marquette County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Complaints of Counterfeit Money

BRIEF SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office has received two separate complaints of individuals passing counterfeit money in the past few days. The counterfeit bills were made in denominations of twenty ($20.00) and ten ($10.00) dollar bills.

Local businesses should take extra caution while checking all currency transactions.
