Marquette – Small business owners and non profit organizations are invited to a “Get On the Books” presentation by U.P. With Local on small business finances on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Participants will learn how to get a small business off of the ground and on the books while making sound business decisions. This event will give aspiring and growing entrepreneurs insights into being self-employed. Presenters include Steve Uren addressing “Business Start Up” from an artists perspective, Helen House covering “Business Do’s and Don’ts” and Mary Luttineen introducing “Basic Bookkeeping”.
There is no admission charge to attend the presentation which is sponsored by UP With Local, a cooperative of businesses, organizations and individuals working together to support a local living economy through education and networking, and the Peter White Public Library.
