Marquette – To remember the victims and heroes of 9/11 on the 10th anniversary of the disaster, the community is invited to an ecumenical memorial service on Sunday, September 11 from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette.
The service, which will include times of prayer, music provided an ecumenical choir and silence, is being sponsored by the leaders of the Evangelical Lutheran, Episcopal, Presbyterian, United Methodist and Catholic churches in the Upper Peninsula region.
There will also be time for fellowship after the prayer service with a modest reception in the cathedral hall.
