Iron Mountain – A Car Care Clinic will be offered on Saturday, October 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of Trinity United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain.
Local churches will remember and honor Bryan Mort, a faithful volunteer, by offering free oil changes, minor windshield chip repair and basic maintenance inspections.
The outreach if to help those in need with basic care maintenance, especially single parents with limited time, money or resources.
Participants are asked to pick up the proper oil filter for their vehicle prior to the event. Oil filters are available at no additional cost, for most participant vehicles, at Advance Auto Parts in Iron Mountain.
Discount wiper blades and air filters are also available for most participant vehicles. The staff at Advance Auto Parts is ready to help individuals choose the correct parts for their vehicles.
Appointments for October 18 are required of individuals to have their vehicle serviced. Limited number of time slots are available. Those wishing to participate should call 776-2219.
