Marquette – The Transition Marquette County Reading Group will meet to discuss the book “Earth: Making a Life on a Tough New Planet” by Bill McKibben, on Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette. .
McKibben’s book looks at changes to our planet, some of which have already begun to happen, as a result of climate change and the end of the age of cheap energy and peak oil production. Those attending are encouraged to read all or part of the book prior to attending the meeting.
