Rock – The annual Rock Lions Labor Day parade and festival will be held on Saturday, Septembe 3 beginning with the parade at 10 a.m. and festivities following at the Rock Lions Clubhouse grounds.
There will be live music throughout the day and games for all ages, including Abracadabra arcade for the kids and bingo for the adults in the clubhouse from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Food and beverages will be available, including fresh pasties provided by the Rock Area Senior Citizens Corporation.
The theme of the parade is “School Days Memories.” Cash prizes will be awarded for best float in several categories, with a $200 prize for the first place float in the theme category. The parade is open to all entries anytime prior to parade start, but pre-registration is recommended.
