Marquette – A Music in the Village event with eleven local bands, will be held Thursday, September 1, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. outside of North Third Street businesses in Marquette. In the event of inclement weather, the bands will perform indoors.
From 2 to 5 p.m. there will be young artists perfomances, with a children’s string quartet performing at Forsberg Flowers, and the Dawn Dott Dancers performing in the Fassbender Funeral Home parking lot. There will also be food, ice cream and children’s activities.
